OH YEAH I got a steamdeck! Friggin amazing! If you are a tinkerer like myself and love goofing with little devices then man is a steam deck for you. I Have a multitude of emulators on it, threw gamepass on it with a month for 1$, and have actually been loving the steam deal sales. Picked up the latest Metro for 8$, its meh at best really. Then I grabbed dishonored 2 and DLC for like 5$ which of course is amazing. Being able to swap to desktop mode and game mode is really great too. So much customizability. Probably too much for average folks to want to bother with but man when I put DuckStation and Blood Omen on that MOFO It made it all worth while. You can use it as a gaming handheld, a console using a dock and controller, and a full fledged linux PC. Whats great is you are even able to run xbox gamepass streaming on it pretty well once set up.
Now to Scorn. It stinks!
Announced way back in like 2014 or 15 the game seemed to sit stagnant in development until now. I think it should have stayed there, the game is shit.
People will say its visually stunning, which it is..... for like FIVE MINUTES. Then its so repetitive it just gets boring. Your character walks like it has lead feet and honestly I think my game glitched out. I was literally on the first puzzle (something with these eggs) and pretty easily figured it out but then when I went to go further what was supposed to be there wasnt. I even decided to look at a walkthrough and confirmed what I had done was right but the game just decided, "nah just keep walking at a snails pace through the same hallways over and over, this is fun too right?".
If you like this game, more power to you but THANK GOD I didn't pay for this.
