As of last month the remote play app was FINALLY released for all android devices over android 5. Unfortunatley the dula shock controller wont work with any devices under android 10. Some people have said they got it to work using an OTG cable but I tried with my galaxy 10 2014 tablet and no dice. It does however work flawlessly with my pixel 2 phone.
Ive actually tried this on 3 different android devices and 1 apple ipad pro 2018. I will say from my experiance it runs much nicer on android so far but without the dual shock its going to be tough playing with the touch screen. As stated you need android 10 or IOS 13 for that.
I've pretty much just played in house on my own network but I did try it once from my work network to my house using touch screen and it was quite playable just with unweildy controls.
Loving the fact this is possible, but one thing is BOY does it drain a phone bettery. Just tonight using RDD2 on my pixel 2 it went from 40% to 15% in about 20-30 mins.

One thing I forgot to mention is I also have a Pixel Slate chromebook that also runs android apps. It will not however run this app. Im reading it because of the archtecture differences between chrome OS (booooo) and Android (yay). I can say as well this is my first and last foray into ChromeOS. Since google isnt making android tablets anymore I might just go MS Surface for my next device instead since I dont personally care for samsung stuff. Not to turn this into a ChromeOS or Pixel slate post but this thing never ceases to disappoint at every turn.
